This deck is an evolving compilation of resources derived from "Operating System Concepts," 7th Edition by Silberschatz (2005) with ISBN 0-471-69466-5.

Designed as an exceptional ancillary tool, this deck complements the textbook for those delving into the intricacies of operating systems and computer architecture. It serves my personal educational endeavors, and I plan to expand it to incorporate content from more chapters as I progress.

The content presently includes:
- Chapter 2: Structure of Operating Systems
- Chapter 3: Process Management
- Chapter 4: Multithreading
- Chapter 5: Strategies for CPU Scheduling
- Chapter 6: Synchronization of Processes
- Chapter 7: Avoiding and Managing Deadlocks
- Chapter 8: Memory Management
- Chapter 9: Concepts of Virtual Memory
- Chapter 10: Interface of File Systems
- Chapter 11: Implementing File Systems
- Chapter 12: Storage Structures
- Chapter 13: Systems for Input/Output

It is not my intention to encapsulate every aspect of the textbook in this final deck.

The content from Part 7 ("Specialized Systems") and Part 8 ("Case Studies") will not be included. Although the deck will not consistently address platform-specific examples, it does, from time to time, touch upon certain aspects pertinent to Unix, Linux, Win32, and Java APIs.
